I found this amazing gal on Craiglist by the name of Jicel. She runs a company called Glamour on the go out of Los Angeles. I originally had a consultation with Monique Powers but when I told my girlfriend about paying 500$ for hair and makeup she Spit her drink out. She then told me about Glamour on the go and I googled the company , got in contact with Jicel and it was the best experience from then on. We corresponded through email and texts. She took my wedding date a month prior and even offered complimentary surprise for my bridal party (there were 6 of us total) the day of my wedding was so fun and just all around a day made so meaningful by her. She's so sweet and very assertive. She also saved me 300$. I paid her 185$ for my hair and makeup (she included beautiful mink lashes) and each of my bridesmaids paid 95$ and even her travel rate was affordable (50$ to woodland hills) I will forever refer her for the rest of my days and will definitely be using her services again |

Many of the ladies that work in the cosmetics department have their cosmetology degree and do freelance makeup & hair for weddings. However if you are looking for a economical way to get your makeup done you could book a appointment at any estee lauder counter, and as long as you purchase something from their counter there is no charge. So with a pre-wedding consultation you are probably looking at close to $80.00 and up depending on the products you purchase plus a tip. In turn you will have the products used to create your look for later touch ups on your special day. Not to mention their foundation creates flawless looking skin in photographs. |

Noreen was absolutely worth every penny I spent. I had 3 trials with other artists before I found Noreen. She kept in touch and answered all my calls, Tex's and emails I sent her. She made recommendations on how I should wear my hair and make up. She came with her assistant Vee. Did 12 of us hair and make up in 4 hours. We all looked flawless. It was the hot and muggy out but my make up and hair lasted the entire day. My make up lasted through sweating and tears. She mde me feel lie a princess. Highly reccommend! |

Tam took the time and patience that I needed being a psycho bride from hell! She gave me a 2 hour trial run and then on wedding day stayed all during the photos and did touch ups. She even presented me with a makeup goodie bag with samples of everyhting to do my own touch ups at reception! Who does that? Tam does!!! |
